The Planner

Back in year 2007 I decided to make a page in dedication to the Greek goddess Nyx. In my research I eventually looked for other things other than in mythology that had some sort of relation to the Night goddess even if it was merely sharing her name. In this, I briefly encountered a Japanese game that had a character named Nyx. To my surprise it was a male character. With nothing more to really go on, I just added him to the list.

Three years later I decided to look up some pictures of Nyx as the goddess. In this I stumbled across Nyx the Neo Angelique character again. He had a picture and everything. The looks helped draw me in more and I found the storyline for an anime series that had been released in 2007 called Neo Angelique ~Abyss~. By now the series was well enough known on the net that I found enough information to intrigue me.

I never really put expectations on what I simply read on a character, but I did become curious enough to look into the anime. I enjoyed it and I found I did like Nyx quite a bit. I liked how very loosely some mythology was added in.

What also helped was what intrigued me in the goddess of the night and thus Nyx from Neo Angelique. In year 1999 I started writing a story and the main character came to be named Nyx. The story has very little to do with mythology, but has notes to it later on. That quite likely helped me become endeared because I adore my original character.

After gathering enough information and studying the animated show, I decided to make a website to house it all. And so it comes down to this.
